Audio not matching with video
Yes the problem was the audio coming in after the video (34 sec -approx) so I didn’t need silence, I needed to remove slience. Tripp recommended VDubMod to check and see if I had been able to remove enough silence from the beginning to get the two tracks to sync.

Okay, best i can think of is to get yourself a Divx/Dvd Player which has slots for memory cards or a USB port. It’s much to hard to find a TV which has a reader in it already so this is probably your best bet.
